The film was done by John Carpenter (director), and Kurt Russel (Snake Plissken) was the main star. The year was 1981 for the movie release, the boot was designed by Stephen A. Loomis, the film's costume designer. The original boot was made by Andre Karsancyian of Andre # 1 Custom Shoes and Boots, Los Angeles CA in 1980. The boot research and design reconstruction was done by Stephen Manley.

When my order arrived I opened it quickly...Oh my goodness the boots are out of this world!!!!! They are very heavy...the real deal!!!! My puppy started barking at them...then he started looking at a poster of Gene Simmons and then back at the boots. You cannot tell the difference!!!!! I was blown away by how well they are made. I talked to Barry, Jim and Gary before and while my boots were being made. They kept me informed every step of the way. After my boots were shipped Barry wanted me to let him know when they arrived. I am glad that I purchased my boots from Jim and Barry, these guys really make authentic KISS replica boots.

I have no doubt that if decided to wear my boots in a concert they would definitely hold up to jumping all over stage wearing them. These boots are very comfortable. They had me measure my feet and legs so these boots are a perfect fit. They custom made a pair of boots just for me!!!! I wish all my shoes felt this good to wear. I guess I might get a lot of strange looks if I were to wear these everyday, but this is a perfectly made boot for my foot. My son wanted to try them on, but these boots are custom fit for my feet and I am the only one that can wear them. When I put the boots on I feel as if I am on stage... The Kiss collectable work was rock today when costume designer Barry Carr completed the last of the Kiss Destroyer era mannequins.

Barry Carr and Motorcowboy have team up to do what most thought was impossible.

The mannequins will go up for sale as a set of four and individually some time this week on EBay.
The set of 4 mannequins take about 2 months to complete. At this point we are not recognized as an authorized Kiss sanctioned product but that should happen any day.

My name is Robert and I have again ordered a few more pair of boots, Patton and the 1936 RAF pattern boots. Your build quality and materials are excellent, and I wanted to know what your policy is on replicating boots. I am in the process of acquiring some German flight and desert (DAK) boots of WWII vintage. As is always the case these boots are a collectors items, but I would like to have them reproduced to fit my feet. I know that there is a small market of re-enactors that would also like to see these boots made. All I have found is the Officer riding boot and the army personal marching boots, but no one out there is producing the flight and desert boots. Would your craftsmen be able to do such a request? I look forward to receiving my pair of boots and hopefully working with you on these new patterns. Thank you, Robert

Hello Robert,Yes we would be interested in replicateing the boots.The absolute best way to replicate your boots is to have one of the boots ,inhand, and than we can duplicate that boot in your size and hopefully sella few more also as we develop the boots. If you do not have a copy of the real thing,do you have photos or website you can send me to? WE CAN BUILD ANYTHING WE CAN SEE. Without the actual boot we will have to have many pictures from all angles.By all means send us one boot.I will need an order so I will send you a url where you can order and sendyour measurements.
